soYou’s Day (and Night) Out!
At around 11 A.M, a bunch of eyes lay perched unmoved. Why and whose you might ask. For that, well, the soYou team has the following to say:
We (the soYou team) hopped off towards, and it was around 11 A.M that we reached it. We were at Camp ExtremeZone – which is known for team building activities, and adventure sports. It was here that we stood, well, unmoved with eyes losing themselves to the splendid horizon!
So, yes, we’re talking about our soYou team’s escapades at Camp ExtremeZone, Manchinbele.
Candid and, um, not so candid poses.
Situated just over 40km from Bangalore, Camp ExtremeZone of Manchinbele, attests Team soYou, is one unmistakably awesome place to be, should one look to choose to start a ‘team building’ sort of a weekend.
‘less me, more You’ indeed! Even if you aren’t an “Us. Not you and I – just ‘us'” sort of a team that soYou is, you might just say it out loud if you go to Camp ExtremeZone, Manchinbele!
Is this the new way of ”hanging out?”
Confirmed. This is our soYou’s way of hanging out.
This reminds me of a poem that soYou’s Koushik had written during the trip. You’ll get to see the poem later in the article. 😉
Starting from Attibele in the morning of Saturday, they reached the destination on the same day … and took this selfie. Water-splashed faces, all right.
I think we’ve got some excellent hands taking these photos. What about you?
less me, more You .. and reptiles – because we’re all one and the same!
It’s quite a sight to see a bunch of shirts with the magnificent logo of soYou etched on, lined up, all the time, isn’t it?! Also, pay attention – this is the Avengers variant of the soYou team; you can call them mutants. Wait, are we talking about X-men here?
“less me, more You” having a “me time” inside these little tents. The beauty of the scenery outside transcends anything that can be jotted down as words!
With the last pic available from the trip now shown, I believe it’s time to unleash an ode to the sojourn that our very own Koushik had crafted during the trip. But before that, a splendid video for you to behold!
One word: Marvelous!
Anyway, it’s time to peep into the poem penned by our brother. Check it out!
Poetry, oft considered to be of linguistic exclusivity, is also something that overpowers the borders of language – so long as there’s at least a decent translation of it in our palms. For said decent translation, let me try my hand at translating the beautiful Tamil poem above to English. Okay, let me just call it a rough translation. Here we go:
Water, running as if it knows its the means to an end.
The birds crooning love.
In the midst of the mist that friends are.
The serene slumber of my dear brother, and of the rocks.
Scratching the surface of the hurrying water, and its noise during our kayaking escapades.
The fountain of peace during moments of silence.
.. All of these are of the allure; all of these are baiting me into their realm of peace, and I happily give myself to them!
Who knows? Perhaps Mother Nature crafted this as a piece of earth that exists solely,
To bestow ones that grace it with peace!
